Nicholas Colosi, DC
President/Founder

Nick is an Ohio native, being born and raised in North Royalton, Ohio. Nick attended Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio where he graduated with a bachelor degree in Exercise Physiology. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Chiropractic at National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, Illinois. While at National University, Nick completed over 300 hours of post-graduate seminars and certifications including Sports Rehabilitation, Active Release Technique, Titleist Performance Institute, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilzation and holds Candidate status for his Rehabilitation Diplomate through the American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Board. Nick also completed the Cressey Elite Baseball Mentorship Program in Boston in 2013 where he was able to learn rehabilitation and treatment protocols from past and present Boston Red Sox doctors and trainers. Nick enjoys working with athletes of all ages and sports, especially golf, baseball, football, weightlifters, hockey, runners, cyclists and tennis players.

Ed Le Cara, DC, Ph.D, ATC, MBA
Director of Education, Master Instructor

Dr. Le Cara has worked as a strength and conditioning coach, athletic trainer, and chiropractor for over 20 years. He holds a PhD in Athletic Training with original published research on lower back musculature and training affects. In addition, he holds an MBA in Transglobal Education from St. Mary’s College of California.

Ed successfully owned and operated SportsPlus: Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation in Pleasanton, CA from 2000 until June 2014. He had hospital privileges at the Veteran’s Administration in Martinez, CA where he worked in the multidisciplinary Center for Integrated Brain Health and Wellness. Notably he was the VP of Sports Science and Human Performance at 24Hr Fitness Corporate office and had a private clinic in their headquarters. In 2014 he relocated to Dallas, TX to open KinetikChain. KinetikChain is a sports medicine and athletic recovery center where he helps active individuals overcome pain and return to activities they love.

In July 2016 Ed relocated to Denver and opened KinetikChain Denver with locations in the Cherry Creek, RiNo and LoDo Neighborhoods. He is an Army Veteran (former Army Combat Medic), Director of Education for Smart Tools IASTM, teaches for TRX Training and consults for numerous health and fitness companies.

He was inducted in the San Ramon Valley High School (Danville, CA) Sports Hall of Fame (Wrestling, 2007 & Football, 2015) and holds the record for the most amount of Varsity Letters for a male athlete with nine (9). When not treating patients, he speaks internationally a few times per month on movement assessment, corrective exercise and business concepts. For fun he Crossfits, hikes, skis, and drinks IPA's.

Massimiliano graduated with magna cum laude honors in Exercise Science from the University of Tor Vergata Rome, a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University Fernando Pessoa Oporto Portugal, and a Masters in Kinesiology from the University of Chieti Italy. He has also received his Diploma in Osteopathy rome Belgian School of Osteopathy BELSO , and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with Distinction(CSCS*D). He has completed a PhD in advanced technology in Sports Rehabilitation and Sports Performance at Medical School University of Tor Vergata Rome

In addition to clinical practice, Massimiliano also serves as the educational director for the National Strength and Conditioning Association of Italy; a Master Coach, educational director, and PT/Osteopath for the European and Italian Weightlifting federation and consultat for Sports Injury Prevention Italian Olympic Committee ; and as a member of the Scientific committee of the Italian Weightlifting Federation. Arash Maghsoodi, DPT, CSCS

Arash Maghsoodi received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. For his undergraduate studies, he attended San Diego State University where he studied Kinesiology. After sustaining a career-ending ankle sprain while playing collegiate soccer, he realized how disabling and life-altering injuries can be, which led him down the Rehab/Prehab route in life.

Arash currently resides in Santa Monica. He has had clinical clerkships primarily in the orthopedic and sports setting including: Glendale Adventist Medical Center (TWC), California Rehab & Sports Therapy, Lavayen PT, Kaiser Permanente, & USC PT Associates. Arash is keeping the family legacy of becoming a physical therapist, as his mother is a practicing clinician of 30 years in Orange County.

As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Arash has assisted coaching local high schools in the Orange County area assisting high school athletes to maximize their full physical potential while decrease risk for injury.

Chris Nentarz, DPT

Originally from Rochester, New York, Chris is a Physical Therapist, Performance Specialist, Writer and Educator. He currently lives in Buffalo, New York and is the owner of Move Well 1:1 PT and CrossFit Nickel City.

Chris graduated from University of Buffalo's Physical Therapy program in 2000. He specializes in movement science, and sports orthopedic rehabilitation. He holds over 18 years experience working with athletes of all levels, including athletes from the NFL, MLS, World Soccer, NBA, professional triathletes, US Lacrosse and MLB. Previous work experience includes Athletes? Performance, Los Angeles, as well as a lead consultant for many professional athletic organizations. Whether he's helping one of the NFL's top quarterbacks come back from an injury, showing an amateur athlete how to get to the next level, or speaking at an international conference, Chris Nentarz brings world-class experience to every job.

Craig Lindell, DPT, CSCS

Dr. Craig Lindell is a physical therapist and co-owner of The Prehab Guys. He practices in the greater Los Angeles area treating primarily orthopedics and sports with a special interest in ACL athletes. Craig was born and raised in Blackwood, New Jersey where he grew up with a passion for sports. He went to the Pennsylvania State University to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. He then went to the University of Southern California to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. With his spare time, Craig enjoys golfing, hiking, traveling, and expanding his knowledge in the field of sports and orthopedics. David Newton, DC

David is the owner of Active Performance Chiropractic and co-owner of Active Lab, a private gym in Denver, Colorado. A chiropractic graduate from the University of Western States, his background also includes a Master’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science in addition to certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. David has completed over 200 hours of post-graduate seminars and education including Sports Rehabilitation, Active Release Technique, Pain Science, and Functional Movement Systems (FMS, SFMA). Dr. Newton works primarily with active individuals and combines manual therapy, with corrective exercise and strength and conditioning to achieve optimal results.

Dr. Kreiswirth earned his PhD in Athletic Training from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah. His latest research is, The Epidemiology of Musculoskeletal Injuries among Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Fighters, in addition to, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. Currently, Dr. K is the owner of Kreiswirth Sports Medicine Systems, LLC, which oversees medical handling for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federations. In the past, Ethan has been a Professor and Program Director for Rocky Mountain University and Concordia University, as well as California State University Dominguez Hills. Dr. K has worked with many Olympic, Pro, College and high school sport teams as a Certified Athletic Trainer since 1996. He has been a contributing author in peer-reviewed journals’ such as International Journal of Athletic Therapy and Training, Journal of Athletic Training, Athletic Training and Sports Health Care, International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy, and Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association.

Moving back to Japan, Sakauchi has worked for Japan Professional Basketball League (B.LEAGUE) and also worked as a personal trainer. Jamie Bovay, DPT, MTC, CSCS graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri.  He has worked with athletes at all levels including professionals, Olympians, weekend warriors, kids, and everything in between.

He uses a combination of manual therapy, movement assessments, joint manipulation, dry needling, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, taping, corrective exercises, and other techniques to get his patients better as quickly as possible.  Using this approach has not only been extremely effective for athletes from all sports, but also for everyday orthopedic injuries as well.

Through a wide variety of continuing education and self-learning Jamie has always striven to improve. In his quest to improve he attained his Manual Therapist Certification (MTC) and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).  These skills and qualifications have allowed his patients to receive excellent results and outcomes making him one of the most sought out PT’s in Denver.

Growing up playing a variety of sports he still plays basketball frequently and you can find him in the mountains most weekends hiking/trail running in the summer or snowboarding in the winter.

Jared Jensen, DC

Dr. Jensen was born and raised in Idaho, and went on to complete his undergraduate work at BYU in Provo, Utah. He then went on to fulfill one of his many dreams of playing professional baseball, and signed on with the Oakland Athletics. During his 4 years with the Oakland A’s he suffered a knee injury. It was throughout his recovery, and working with many different health professionals that he became fascinated with how the body can heal itself given the proper help.

He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Southern California University of Health Sciences, and has been helping and serving people ever since. He currently has his own practice in Meridian, Idaho where he is able to apply two of his greatest passions in life- teaching and seeing people improve and succeed. He also travels around the world, as an instructor for the Council on Extremity Adjusting (CEA) and SMART Tools, teaching and instilling a sense of passion in helping others for those who attend his seminars. In his spare time, Dr. Jensen enjoys spending time in the outdoors, doing Tri-Athlons, and playing Pickleball. He lives in Meridian with his wife of 21 years, and their three children.

Joey is a sports chiropractor and performance specialist. He owns and operates Engineered Per4mance in Ankeny, IA, a sports performance and rehabilitation clinic specializing in return to sport orthopedic rehabilitation and collegiate athlete development. 
 
After obtaining his BA in Health Sciences from the University of Iowa, Joey had the opportunity to work with EXOS, formerly Core Performance/Athletes Performance, in Los Angles, helping everyday people and professional athletes reach their highest athletic potential. Joey continued his education receiving his DC at Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, CA. Joey completed an internship under Dr. Ed LeCara at the Martinez Veterans Administration Hospital, treating our nation's heroes, and completed his preceptorship treating professional athletes and weekend warriors alike at Water and Sport Physical Therapy in San Diego.
 
Outside of Engineered Per4mance, Joey is with his family of 5, swimming, mountain biking, or traveling. He is passionate about musculoskeletal treatment for the underserved and travels to central Africa every year to help in any capacity. 

Josh Bruce, DC

Josh is from the BEST coast, California born and raised. He completed his bachelors degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science at Cal State Long Beach, and then went on to earn his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer West in San Jose. Josh draws on his diverse clinical background to influence his teaching style. He is currently treating in an onsite health center at Facebook where he works in conjunction with a team of physical therapists, acupuncturists and primary care physicians to help care for the tech workers of today and their myriad of repetitive stress injuries. While at the same time owning and operating a sports injury focused clinic with multiple chiropractors, massage therapists and athletic trainers where he works primarily with triathletes and crossfitters. Dr. Kamiyama is currently an adjunct faculty for Seton Hall University’s DPT program teaching gross anatomy, palpation and kinesiology. He also lead instruct seminars for Medical Mind in Motion nationally and is a co-instructor for Neurokinetic Therapy for Japan. Dr. Kamiyama spent 4+ years as a PT and Clinical Supervisor prior to opening his own facility where he blends an approach of manual therapy, breathe, gait, movement corrections along with modern pain science. Michael was born and raised in Northern California but now currently resides in Sunny SoCal ever since attending the University of California, Los Angeles as an undergraduate majoring in physiology. After his undergraduate studies, he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from cross-town rival the University of Southern California. He is the Co-Founder of The Prehab Guys and their mission is to utilize the power of social media to educate the public on ways to optimize their movement system via implementing the principles and applications of rehabilitation programs BEFORE injuries occur. Michael Lau received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. For his undergraduate studies, he attended the University of California, Los Angeles and studied physiology. Michael recently worked in Beijing, China as part of a team from USC training the first generation of physiotherapists in China, working at the Olympic Bird’s Nest and Water Cube. Michael has worked at numerous sports and orthopedic clinics in the Los Angeles area, including Kaiser West Los Angeles, Paulseth and Associates Physical Therapy, Harbor Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine, Torrance Physical Therapy, and Weihner and Associations Physical Therapy. Michael holds certifications as a NSCA Strength and Conditioning Specialist, in Niel Asher Technique, and in IASTM from Smart Tools.

Michael recently worked in Beijing, China as part of a team from USC training the first generation of physiotherapists in China, working at the Olympic Bird’s Nest and Water Cube. Michael is a huge proponent of movement education, pain science, and strength and conditioning. He believes that through education alone, a large majority of societies’ aches and pains can be alleviated. He currently sees patients at his private practice, Prehab Physical Therapy, with a special interest in ACLr rehab and the lower extremity return to sport athlete.

Muhammed Javed Subbah, always been an fitness enthusiast, after completing degree in physical therapy from India, concentrated work in hospitals for orthopedic, sports rehabilitation. Paul Colosky, PT, ATC, CSCS

Paul E. Colosky, Jr., MPT, ATC, CSCS, STMT, MFMSis a licensed physical therapist who, after 11 years of successful management of Valeo Physical Therapy in Houston, Tx, recently relocated to the Washington, DC area with his wife and daughter for a new adventure on the East Coast.  Paul believes that being a physical therapist is a craft that requires using a wide range of revolutionary treatment techniques and patient education to speed the patient’s own healing process.

Shawn He, MD, PhD

A formal orthopedic Surgeon, musculoskeletal researcher and now a professor of Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida, teaching clinical anatomy. Dr. He has broad range of knowledge and experience in varies areas in scope of musculoskeletal and pain conditions. He also is the first one leading instruct seminars of SMART tools plus in China and has trained numerous doctors, PTs and other health professionals. He also lead other training courses, such as kinesiology taping, in both US and China. Dr. He has profound knowledge in fascial movement and blends his knowledge in clinical session. Dr. Yordan has been recognized by the United States Olympic Committee for working
with athletes in preparation for the 2014 National Swimming Championships and the
2016 Olympic Games.
Dr. Yordan is a Cuban native who completed a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from
Florida International University. He is owner of Healthy Body Physical Therapy in Lake
Norman, NC where they have spearheaded Blood Flow Restriction Training for rehab
and performance. Having logged many BFR training hours with athletes, he seeks to
help clients, trainers, coaches and clinicians on the significant impact this technology
can have. He enjoys working with all athletes and spends a lot of time helping ironman,
bodybuilders and swimmers reach their full potential.

Charbel Daher, DC

Charbel is a graduate of two leading Australian Universities. He completed a Bachelor of Biological Science (Anatomy and Physiology) from the University of Western Sydney and continued his studies at Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Masters of Chiropractic Science. After graduating Charbel began working with Medical Practitioners and continued to expand his skills in the treatment and management of chronic disease and sports injuries. Tony Paladin

Tony Paladin is a certified Level 1 Crossfit coach with a special interest in Orthopaedic rehabilitation. He practices out of Johannesburg and Capetown.

He represented South Africa from 1998 to 2012 in Rowing and formed part of the 2011 squad that qualified South Africa’s Gold medal team.

Tony also has an extensive running, cycling, triathlon and weightlifting background. He writes for a number of local and international publications.

Tony’s Primary areas of focus include Orthopaedic rehabilitation; specifically joint stabilisation, musculoskeletal development and Biomechanics. Tony has an interest in sport specific testing and training (primarily rowing, cycling, running, weightlifting and triathlon).

He has trained and rehabilitated a number of national, international and professional sportsmen and women and is also a certified CrossFit level 1 Coach.

Tony is a proud husband, father and animal lover.
